In no particular order because I am BAD at prioritizing books in the order I want to read them. I want to read EVERYTHING!!!
Some of these have been on my TBR list for over a year. I'm easily distracted by newer books that come out, which is why I'm currently trying to power through some of the older stuff this winter. I'll only include books that are out now, click on the links to find them on GoodReads.
- The House of Scorpion (Matteo Alacran #1) by Nancy Farmer
- The Young Elites (The Young Elites #1) By Marie Lu
- Splintered (Splintered #1) by A.G. Howard
- The Madman's Daughter (The Madman's Daughter #1) by Megan Shephard
- If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch
- Anna Dressed in Blood ( Anna #1) by Kendare Blake
- The Dark Inside (Dark Inside #1) by Jeyn Roberts
- Slated (Slated #1) by Teri Terry
- Feed (Newsflesh #1) by Mira Grant
- White Cat (The Curse Workers #1) by Holly Black
If you have any strong opinions on the books listed above leave a comment below, explaining why. All of these have wonderful reviews by GR friends I trust, so definitely check them out if your looking for your next read!!

You should most definitely read Splintered! It is easily one of my favorite series (maybe my absolute favorite!) and I must push it on everyone I meet! :P The Young Elites has amazing reviews, so I hope you love it too! Feed wasn't good, in my opinion, but I'm definitely in the minority. Thanks for sharing :)
Here are my Top Ten!
I want to read everything too! I really like Dark Inside, it's dark and unique. But despite having the sequel, I haven't read it, so I'm in serious need for a reread of the first book.
My TTT
Number 4 is one of my favs Great list. New GFC follower.
Splintered is on my Kindle waiting for me to be read, it sounds amazing! I also really want to read The Young Elites - thanks for stopping by! :)
I haven't heard of some of the books you mentioned, so I will check them out :-) I wasn't sure if I wanted to read the Young Elites, but it has been on a lot of lists today so I think I'll give it a go!
Hope you enjoy these books :-)
I've read No.3 and enjoyed it. Quite an entertaining story and I enjoyed visiting Wonderland in a different guise.
No.6 I also have waiting to be read - I can't believe how long I've had this book and how excited I was to have a copy!
9 - I didn't really enjoy but it could just be my own particular mood reading at the time or the fact that I went into the read with the wrong expectations - it seems to be fairly well received by others.
10 - I've enjoyed this series, but I do think Holly Black is good, - I've read the first two and just now need to read the last - interesting world and concept.
Lynn :D
I really loved The White Cat. Even though I could often guess what was going to happen, I still enjoyed the ride! I do like Holly Black's writing. Also, Anna Dressed in Blood was a fun read, I enjoyed the character friendships.
Feed is something that's been on my TBR list for ages. It sounds really good.
I haven't read any of these but I notice that that is a LOT of series you're starting! If you get hooked on them all, your TBR will be getting very large. Good luck!
Thanks I just got into re-tellings recently with Cinder, so I will definitely check it out!!!
Yeah I'm looking forward to it's gritty quality!!
Yay!!, I've heard nothing but great things about it!!
Yes, I have had both on my kindle for a while!!
I'm Glad I could suggest some books you haven't heard of!!
Yeah I've heard mixed reviews for Feed so we'll see how that goes!! I also heard great thing about Holly Black!! Thanks for stopping by
Well if Holly Black's writing is good, I'm sure predictability won't matter to me!! Thanks for stopping By!!
Yes, I know but I try to mix in stand alones to break up the series and I also don't tend to read books in series consecutively, so that gives me a break!!!
This looks like a phenomenal list! Splintered is a wonderful series, albeit crazy as hell. After reading, it took me quite a while to collect my thoughts, but it was truly one of the best fantasy books I've had the pleasure of reading this year. Your list looks great, and hopefully, you will be enjoying some great reads this winter!
Morrighan @ Elysian Fields.
Oh, I LOVED Dark Inside! And the sequel is even better! (Now if we could only get the third book someday...) The Young Elites is good too. I also need to read The Madman's Daughter, Feed, and Slated. Hope you enjoy these :)
Shannon @ It Starts At Midnight
Splintered was an interesting series. Not my favorite, but I'm definitely still excited for the final book to come out soon. It's a good time to start the series since you won't have to wait :)
