JULY FAVORITES

Pachinko, The Poppy War, Monthly Wrap Up, InToriLex
I only read four books in July because I was sick with a sinus infection for most of the month. Pachinko and The Poppy War were my favorite although they are very different Genre's. Pachinko is a historical family saga that discusses Korean identity and racism. The Poppy War is a military fantasy with wonderful world building and action. I'm looking forward to a much better reading month.

REVIEWS

AUGUST TBR

August TBR, InToriLex
I already finished The Suicide Club by Rachel Heng, and The Book of M by Peng Shephard so I'm starting the month off well. I highly recommend both. I decided to start listening to the audio book for Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn last night on a whim. I'm really loving the HBO adaptation and suspect the book will be better. I am really excited to get to How to Love A Jamaican by Alexis Arthurs and Fruit of the Drunken Tree by Ingrid Rojas Contreras which were July releases.

How did your reading go in July?
